In September 2022, Ubisoft will end online and multiplayer services for 15 games.
Ubisoft plans to shut down multiplayer and online services for 15 games on September 1, 2022. These games include five Assassin's Creed games, Far Cry 3, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, and more.
On that date, you also won't be able to install DLC for games like Assassin's Creed 3 (2012 Release) and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.
Ubisoft wrote on its support page, "Closing the online services for some older games lets us use our resources to make sure that players of newer or more popular games have a great time."
Here is the full list of games and services that will be stopped.

Assassin's Creed II for the PC and the PS3: You won't be able to play with other people, link your Ubisoft accounts, or use online features.
Assassin's Creed III (2012 Release) PC: You won't be able to play with other people, link your Ubisoft accounts inside the game, or use online features. Also, you won't be able to install or get access to downloadable content (DLC).
You won't be able to play with other people, link your Ubisoft account to the game, or use online features on the PlayStation 3, Wii U, or Xbox 360.
